Sourcing
Every article names its sources. Factual claims — prices, benchmark results, policy changes, license terms — link to a primary source: a provider's own docs or status page, a model card or release note, a regulator, or an official dataset. We do not publish claims we cannot attribute. A claim is not a fact: when a provider states something about itself (uptime, retention, performance), we label it as a claim until we can verify it independently.
X posts are leads, not sources
X (Twitter) posts can tell us a story is happening, but they are not citable evidence of what is true — except in Pulse coverage, where the discourse itself is the story and is labeled as such. Everywhere else, a claim sourced only to a post is treated as unverified until confirmed against a primary source.
Automation disclosure
DeAI articles are produced by the DeAI Newsroom, an editorial automation system built and supervised by the publication's operators. The system monitors feeds and primary sources, drafts articles, checks them against a structural quality contract (sourcing, factual specificity, answer-first structure), and publishes under the DeAI Newsroom byline. Human oversight covers editorial direction, the quality contract itself, spot review, and corrections. We publish under a single organizational byline rather than invented personal ones: no fictional journalists, no synthetic author biographies.
Neutrality
DeAI is powered by Morpheus, a decentralized inference marketplace, and discloses that relationship openly. Morpheus gets no favorable treatment and is never described as cheaper, better, faster, or more private than any competitor. It is covered — in roundups, comparisons, and the Refusal, Price and Trust trackers — on the same criteria as every other provider, and ranked wherever the data puts it, including below rivals. The only Morpheus placement anywhere on the site is the disclosed “Powered by Morpheus” footer and site badge; there are no in-body gateway links.
Accuracy and speed
When accuracy and speed conflict, accuracy wins. Breaking coverage is published only when a development is confirmed by a citable primary source. Velocity coverage — reporting on what builders are debating — is labeled as such and distinguishes what is established from what is being claimed.
Corrections
Errors are corrected visibly, not silently, and the record is append-only — see the corrections policy.
Independence
DeAI is independent. It is not owned by any inference provider, and no provider — Morpheus included — is granted editorial influence over coverage or rankings. We do not publish sponsored content presented as reporting.
