Darkbloom, built by Eigen Labs (the team behind EigenLayer), turns idle Apple Silicon Macs into a decentralized private-inference network: requests are routed end-to-end encrypted to hardware-verified Mac providers who run the model without being able to read the underlying prompt or output. It is publicly described as OpenAI-compatible and live on OpenRouter's paid tier, currently in public alpha. Growth and volume claims from the roster sweep are qualitative ("fast growth") rather than quantified, and the encryption and hardware-verification claims have not been independently attested for this seed batch.
